Chaundrea Rhodes and Sister Chauveria Rhodes created Gospel Praise Radio along with Byron J. Walker to cater towards an audience that was not traditionally represented in the community. The two sisters wanted to cater to the youth with playing Rap, Reggae, Rock, and R & B Gospel. They have important community awareness programs such as “Walking Beyond Limitations” and “Wake Up!” They also hold a vision and desire to bring the people of West Texas together to stand in unity for the positive changes, events and economic growth in the city and surrounding areas. The radio show has plans to purchase all the air time on 87.7 FM and be able to play Gospel Praise Radio 24hrs a day 7 days a week.
